
Glenda was born on March 26th 1948 to Alfonso and Eugenia Farnetti in West Blocton, Alabama. After graduating from West Blocton High School in 1966, she went on to study accounting at Alverson-Draughon Business College.
After graduation, she landed her first job as a bank teller for First National Bank for 3 years. Later Glenda would work for People’s Bank in Centreville Alabama for 20+ years. Glenda left banking to pursue a career in horticulture. After several years of running a landscaping company with her husband Louie Wade, she worked for Home Depot until her death.
Glenda was dedicated to her three grandchildren, Anna Morse, Trent Morse, and Laurel Grace Morse.
Glenda was predeceased by Lonnie Morse (husband), Alfonso Farnetti (father), Eugenia Farnetti (mother), Joyce Franks (sister), and Charlene Gilbert (sister). Glenda is survived by Louie Wade (husband), Kevin Morse (son), Gina Morse (daughter in law), Anna Morse (granddaughter), Trent Morse (grandson), Laurel Grace Morse (granddaughter), Sharon Johnson (sister), Charles Farnetti (brother), Molly (dog), Lucy (dog), and Penny (cat).
Glenda was a strong and godly presence in our family, and she will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a local humane society or animal shelter.
Graveside service will be Friday January 28, 2021 at Johntown Cemetery starting at 10AM. Pastor Steven Hicks presiding.
