He is survived by his wife, Joyce Mitchum of Brent; son, James Cochran of Brierfield; daughters, Jessica Nichols(Chris) of Heiberger and Kaylyn Gillespie(Richard) of Tuscaloosa; mother, Mary Jo Etheridge of Fosters; brothers, Phillip Mitchum of Tuscaloosa, Scott Mitchum of Tuscaloosa and Earl Etheridge of Marion; 12 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, William Leon Mitchum and his grandparents.
Memorial service Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 2 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
