Herman Cornelius "Corny" Pierce

Herman Cornelius "Corny" Pierce, age 83, of Centreville, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023. Corny was a lifelong resident of Bibb County, Alabama. He worked as an Insurance Agent for Liberty National and for Rockco Funeral Home for many years. Corny actively attended West Blocton Third Baptist Church. His legacy was his very large family. Even those who were not a direct child of his, still thought of him as "Dad" or "Grandad".

Corny is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Pierce; father, Connie Pierce; mother, Mary Pierce; sister, Martha Pierce; brother, Lonnie Pierce; and daughter, Pam Pierce.

He is survived by and will be sadly missed by his children, Jeff Pierce and Kaylee (Jay) Murphy; brother, Tommy Pierce; grandchildren, Elijah (Brianne) Colburn, Josh (Lindsey) Colburn, Kobi Pierce, Jaime Cook, Evelyn Cook, Ashlyn Cook, and Chelsey Reach; great- grandchildren, Linlee, Kenadie, JP, Bradley, Kase, Jordyn, Miller, Beck, Rush, Ava Grace; and his special friend, Jackie Bailey.

A Graveside Service for Corny will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 1 PM at Pineland Cemetery in Centreville, Alabama. Pastor Robert Smith will be officiating.
