Howard E. Carter passed on June 27, 2026, at the age of 75. He was the resident of Heiberger, Al. He spent his early life working for Seaman Timber Company. He loved hunting and fishing. Howard will be missed by his three brothers, other family, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosa; parents, Callie Carter and Nettie Mae Carter; five brothers and four sisters.
A visitation for Howard will be held on Thursday July 2, 2026 from 10:30 am until 11:00 am at Sardis Baptist Church in Marion, AL with funeral services to begin at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery with Gervis Smith officiating.
