James David entered into rest at Bibb Medical Nursing Home on July 19, 2017. He is survived by his son, James David Hendrix, Jr.; grandson, Donavon Hendrix; brothers, Thomas E. Hendrix and Charles L. Hendrix; a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert"Red" and Willie Mae Hendrix.
