James Robert (Bob) Tyler, age 79, of Alabaster, Alabama passed away on Saturday January 26, 2019. James was born July 16, 1939.
Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alabaster, where he was a Deacon, he was an X-ray Tech. with UAB West before his retirement. He was a member of the Army National Guard and was activated during the Korean Conflict.
Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ryba Elliott Tyler, a daughter; Susan (Eddie) Price of Kinston, N.C., son-in-law, Tim Emerson, sister-in-Law, JoAnn Tyler, Niece, Lisa Bradburn and nephew, Rett Tyler and a host of nieces, nephews and family members. Also by Grandchildren: Anna Kennedy (fiance; Trey Smith), John Kennedy, Trey Price, Emily (Brent) Emerson Holsomback and Tyler Claire Emerson. One Great Grandchild; Asher Holsomback.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Becky Emerson, Parents; Guy and Olga Tyler and a brother; Guy Tyler Jr.
Funeral Services for Bob will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Alabaster at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation prior to the service from 10: A.M. till service time. Interment will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Sandy Chapel Cemetery in Centreville, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be; John Kennedy, Trey Price, Rett Tyler, Eddie Price, Tim Emerson, Dennis Freeman, Trey Smith and Jarrod Cordova.
