She was preceded in death by her parents Luther Hale and Alice Stewart; brothers, Donald Turk and William Ralph Hale; sisters, Annie Joe Murphy, Alice Stewart and Jean Crocker.
She is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Louis Pierson; son Joshua Pierson and his Wife Lauren; sister, Emily Gramaldi; brother Clyde Turk; her pride and joy granddaughters Jeanna and Ava Pierson.
She retired from Walmart after serving the community for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her family and it showed by the way she talked about them.
