Janice's favorite past times were coloring, puzzles and sewing. She loved watching movies. She loved her family and friends. Janice was a member of Oasis of Praise church.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Whitted; son, Henry Whetstone; sister, Shirley Honeycutt; grandchildren, Katelyn Pyle, Rachel Phillips, Austin Borello, Vincent Whetstone and Mackenzie Whetstone; and great grandchildren, Maci Cook, Kinsley Jones, Ryker Pyle and Holden Pyle.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; son, Derek Tubbs; sisters, Mabeline Crowe, Louise Smith and Marjorie Nail; and brothers, Leland Lawrence, Leonard Lawrence, Kenneth Lawrence and Thomas Lawrence.
A graveside service for Janice will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Lawley, Alabama.
