Jannie Taylor Falkenberry

Jannie Taylor Falkenberry, age 102, of Brent, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. She grew up in Bibb County, one of eleven children of Robert G. Price and Annie Lou Cash Price. She retired as a supervisor from N. D. Cass Toy Company. She was the oldest living member of Brent Baptist Church. She travelled extensively and loved to read.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Crawford "Red" Taylor and Oscar Falkenberry; daughter, Margaret Helen "Peggy" Noah; sons-in-law, Otis Mitchell and Woodrow Noah; and nine siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Sara Taylor Mitchell; granddaughters, Teressia Mitchell Freeman (Dennis), Sheila Mitchell Scott (Doug), and Katrina Noah Mitchell (Jon); six great-grandchildren, Dr. Joseph Freeman (Rachel), Adam Freeman (Taylor), Sara Scott, Gracie Mitchell, Noah Mitchell and Colby Mitchell; great-five great-grandchildren, Briggs, Bodie, Ann-Lee, Parke and Crawford Freeman; sister, Norma Faucette (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Jannie will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Pineland Memorial Cemetery, 3472 Montgomery Highway, Centreville, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations be directed to Brent Baptist Church.
