Jerry Wood, age 78, of West Blocton entered into rest at Aspire Physical Therapy in Northport, AL on June 27, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ellen Wood; sons, Byron Wood and Todd Wood(Diane) of Yukon, Ok.; grandchildren, Jeff Wood, Levi Wood and Lacy Wood; great grandchild, Matthew Wood and niece, Debbie Brewer McMillin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Carrie Wood; sister, Bun Brewer. Mr. Wood was born in Coffeyville, Kansas and served in the US Army.
