John Thomas Gray Sr.

John “Tommy” Gray, Sr., age 68, of Centreville entered into rest on September 21, 2016 at Hospice of West Alabama. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with burial in Pineland Memorial Cemetery. Rockco Funeral Home directing and Rev. Dennis Harbison, Rev. Jack Allen, and Rev. Mike Allen officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joyce Gray of Centreville; son, Tommy Gray, Jr. (Melissa) of Centreville; daughter, Tammy Gray of Centreville; grandchildren, Seth Barton and Kaylin Gray; sisters, Polly Litton of Centreville; Anne Chandler (Percy) of Centreville; and a host of extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clayburn and Earline Gray; and three brothers, Maxie, Dale, and Ronnie Gray.

Pallbearers are Tony Lawley, Bobby Helton, Roger Dale Gray, Doc Holliday,

Lee Stewart and Kyle Gray.

Honorary pallbearers are Cahawba Christian Academy, his co-workers from Drummond Coal, Calvary Baptist Church Deacons, his church family, and the second floor staff at DCH.
