Karen LaGrone, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished member of her family, passed away on August 20, 2026.Services will be held on August 25, 2026 at Rockco Funeral Home, with visitation from 10:30-11:30. Funeral service starting at 11:30 with burial to follow at Springhill cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Carter; mother, Frances Carter; daughter, Kelsie LaGrone; and sibling, Donald Carter.
Karen leaves behind her loving husband, Kenneth LaGrone, and her children: Vinnie Harris (Crystal), Brandon Harris (Christi), Sommer Dunkin (Robert), Lynn Mitchell (Melton), and Wendy Williams (Jonte).
She is also survived by her siblings, Henry Swindle and Barbara Parten, as well as her grandchildren: Jordan Mitchell, Justin Mitchell, Amanda Polk, Christian Harris, Melanie Harris, Austin Harris, Kaitlyn Harris, Brianna Harris, Jasmine Lolley, Brantley Harris, Jax Swartz, Kyra Williams, Alyssa Williams, Bryant Williams, Stephen LaGrone (deceased), and Hunter Dunkin. Karen was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren.
Her life and memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.
