She is preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Hill Smith and Walker Smith; sister, Mary Louise Ingalsbe; great-grandsons, Cody McDaniel and Kody Jolly; and many more.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Dozier Holifield; children, Kenny Holifield (Mary Sue), Kathy Martin (Jimmy), Patricia Holifield, Lonie Parsons (Arthur), and Rebecca Snow (Robert); 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Kathryn was a member of New Harvest Church of God and she loved her church family. She was devoted to the Lord and loved to read her Bible.
The family will be having a viewing and service at New Harvest Church of God, 10630 Vance Blocton Road, Vance, AL 35490. Friends are welcome from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm with the funeral service to start at 12:00 pm. Following burial will be at Bethlehem Methodist Church in Heiberger. Bishop Danny Murray officiating.
