L C Simmons age 91, of Centreville, Alabama entered into rest on Tuesday March 3, 2020 at Bibb Nursing Home surrounded by his family. He was born September 10, 1928 to Mr. Warren and Frances Simmons of Centreville, AL. He is survived by his three sons, Don Simmons of Centreville, Jimmy Simmons of Centreville, Larry Simmons of Vance; two daughters, Helen Champion of Duncanville, Diane Pierson of Centreville; two brothers, J.W Simmons of Centreville, Roy Simmons of Moundville; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Simmons; parents, Warren and Frances Simmons; four brothers, R.C Simmons, R.V Simmons, John Wayne Simmons, Troy Simmons; one sister, Mattie Sewell and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday evening March 6, 2020 from 6PM-8PM at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Saturday March 7, 2020 at 2PM here at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Centreville Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Steve Vernon officiating.
