He is survived by: Wife, Teresa Caffee; Daughter, Gena (Dale) Dowdle; Daughter, Kelly (Bryan) McDonald; Brother, Glenn (Linda) Caffee; Grandchildren: Taylor (Alex) Caffee; Trey (Jennilyn) White; Gabby McDonald; Malori (Shaun) Hindman; Dylan (Courtney) Dowdle; and Kirk (Maddie) Dowdle; Great Grandchildren: Fowler Caffee; Cooper Caffee; Harper White; Ava Brown; Nolan Hindman; Maddox Hindman; Natalee Dowdle; Luke Dowdle; and Evie Dowdle; and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Pallbearers are: Taylor Caffee; Trey White; Dylan Dowdle; Ricky Heard; Ervin Heard; and Shannon Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers are: Barry and Vanessa Carden; Bibb Medical Center employees; Kirk Dowdle; Marty Caffee; Danny Caffee; and Bryan McDonald.

Funeral services will be held at Pineview Baptist Church in Brent, AL on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 10:00am.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Pineland Memorial Park in Centreville, AL.

"Big Lar" will always be remembered for his big heart, kindness, and comical personality. He was saved and loved his Lord and savior. He made sure to keep God first and wanted to make sure his loved ones did the same. His family was his life. He was the Best husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend to all that knew him. He worked at the family restaurant (Twix N Tween) for many years and loved it along with his family, co-workers, and customers. He then started working in construction along with his dad and brothers. He could build anything with his hard working hands. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, gardening, looking at fast cars, and watching his grands and great grands. He wanted to be a Christian example and testimony to others. He was a member of Pineview Baptist Church. He is going to be greatly missed by his earthly family, but was ready to be greeted by his family in Heaven. His main wish was for anyone left on earth to have that experience and to accept the gift of eternal life that Jesus paid for us all. Thank you, Big Lar for being you! We all are so blessed to have had you for our time here on earth. We will see you soon.
