Lester Earl Brewer

Lester Earl Brewer, age 78, of Marion, Alabama passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Over the course of his life, Lester had many jobs to support his family, and retired from Linden Lumber in 2007. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Westerns, listening to country music and playing golf. He will be terribly missed by his family and the friends he made throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Ida Mae Brewer; brothers, Johnny Brewer and Hugh Brewer; his sister, Betty Chandler; and brother-in-law, Norman Calhoun. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy M. Brewer; sons, Sam Brewer and Dan Brewer (Vanessa); daughter, Jennifer Crocker; grandchildren, Leslie Brewer, Patrick Brewer (Brittany), Cody Crocker (Anna), Ben Crocker, Kayla Brewer and Logan Brewer; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence Brewer (Margaret) and Kenneth Brewer (Linda); sister, Florence Calhoun; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Lester will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Bro. George Marchant will officiate.

Lester will be laid to rest in Waycross Cemetery, Hwy 29, Marion, Alabama. Pallbearers are John Brewer, Keith Brewer, Scott Brewer, Danny Crocker, and Ben Crocker. Honorary pallbearers are Patrick Brewer, Logan Brewer, and Chase Tyus.
