Lewis Edward Carter, age 86, of Marion, Alabama passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021. He is survived by two sons, Charles Carter of Marion, Sammy Carter of Marion; five brothers, Howard Carter of Marion, Dewy Carter of Marion, Richard Carter of Marion, Hayward Carter of Maplesville, Marvin Carter of Mobile; one sister, Dorothy Jane Carter of Marion; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Carter; one son, Jamie Carter; his parents, Callie and Nettie Carter.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 2PM - 3PM at Heiburger United Methodist Church with the funeral service starting at 3PM. Burial will be adjoining cemetery with Rev. Leonard Mitchell and Rev. Garvis Smith presiding.
