Mrs. Lillian Naomi Averette, age 84, of West Blocton, Alabama passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Lillian was born July 24, 1936. She is survived by her son, William Eugene Averette(Hypatia) of Vance; daughters, Teresa Diane Callahan(Paul) of Cottondale; son in law, Junior Jones of Brent; sister, Nancy Harris of West Blocton; brothers, William Morse of Texas, Tommy Morse of Brent and Chuck Morse of West Blocton; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, J. W. Averette; daughter, Patricia Gale Jones; her parents, John William and Willie May Morse; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021at 11 AM in Stewart Cemetery on Hopewell Church Rd. in West Blocton, AL. Rev. Roy Neil Lowery officiating.
