Marcia Gail Bailey

Marcia Gail Johnson Bailey, age 67, originally of Brent, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Full of life, love and a fiery spirit, her smile was for everybody. Gail always stood up for what she thought was right and nobody could change her mind. A true blessing to many, she was a wonderful mother, sister, daughter and loving friend especially to the staff and fellow residents at East Glen. She witnessed to many and knew the Lord well. Words cannot express the void caused by her departure, but her family rejoices her homecoming. Roll Tide!

She was preceded in death by her father, Lewie B. Johnson; and her son, Shane Thomas. She is survived by her mother, Olene Wyres Johnson of Centreville; son, Jonathan Thomas (Amy) of Jasper, AL and Joshua Bailey (Kayla) of Pinson, AL; grandchildren, Cinder Wolsleger and Kannon Bailey; siblings, Doris Tucker (Jim), Michael Johnson (Phyllis), Mary Lou Crim (Phillip), Bobby Johnson (Pam); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Marcia will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM.

Marcia will be laid to rest in Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Eoline, Alabama.
