She spent the majority of her career working with the late Dr. Pat Parrino and continued working well into her 80s. Her determination, remarkable work ethic, and love of being around people helped her build a long and successful career in a profession she truly enjoyed.
Her faith and church community were an important part of her life. For most of her time in Rome, Martha was an active member of West Rome Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir for many years. Faith and friendship were intertwined in her life. Personable, capable, outgoing, and always full of energy, Martha genuinely enjoyed people and brought that spirit with her wherever she went.

independent spirit, with warmth, energy, and devotion to those she loved will remain an enduring part of legacy.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff at the Renaissance Marquis in Rome, GA, to her dear neighbors Curtis Reed and Jane Biles, and to her long-term caregiver for many years, Carman Floyd, whose love and dedication to Martha were an immeasurable blessing.
