I haven’t seen my cousin Mary Jo since the last family reunion I attended years ago either at Pea Ridge or another park. My name is Susan Reda and my grandmother, Carrie Duke, and Mary Jo’s grandfather, George Lawley, were brother and sister. I am so very sorry to hear of her death. Mary Jo used to visit our family in New York and I have great memories showing her the city and going to Radio City Music Hall with her and my mom, Betty Duke Reda. I have so many good memories of Mary Jo and the family.

Kenny and Keith and families, You may wonder who I am so I will tell you. My stepfather was Willie Linholm, your Grandpa Paul’s cousin. When we visited from Ohio, we were always so happy to see your mother. She was always so friendly and kind. She always found something fun for us to do or go and see. Even after she was married and had you boys, she was always fun and we always looked forward to seeing her and spending time with her. We have so many good memories of her. She was a wonderful person. Ethel Green

Met Jo through Baptist Association. She got us involved in the Christmas gift shop. She was such a great inspiration and blessing to me.

It is our distinct honor to be able to call Jo our friend. Jo, along side several other members, were instrumental in the establishment of Baptist Church at Lay Lake and we were blessed to watch her fervently serve her Lord in so many ways. She touched the lives of more people than we can imagine as she worked with the Baptist Association and Christmas Gift Shop. I know without doubt that God welcomed her into heaven with “well done my good and faithful servant”. We earthly beings will miss her and heaven is brighter today!
