I worked with Ms. Merita many years ago at Stacy Drug Store. She was always such a joy to be around. She had the best smile and jolly personality. I know you will all miss her but I know she was thrilled to be reunited with her "Mick". Holding you all up in prayer, Jodi

My condolences to the family. I’ve known Mrs. Merita since high school, where I attended with her kids. I taught some of her grandchildren and taught alongside her at the local schools. She was always kind and happy, with such an infectious laugh. She will be greatly missed.

Merita was someone who was loved by all of our family: John, Stephanie, Paul and myself. Through the years she has sent many, many birthday cards, Christmas cards, etc. to all of us. We treasured each one because she would always have the kindest words to brighten our day. She was a joy to work with and always had a smile for all of our children at Centreville Elementary School. A precious soul who will always be remembered as someone so dear to all of us who were fortunate enough to know her. May God comfort you as only He can in the days ahead. We love each of you. John and Becky, Stephanie and Paul
