Murray Allen Nichols

He was born on February 4, 1947 to the late Leroy "Roy" and Irene Nichols.

Murray is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy "Roy" and Irene Nichols; wife, Grace Nichols; siblings, Leon Nichols and Alona Nichols Tucker.

He is survived by his children, Timothy Allan Nichols (Christi), Marvis Ray Nichols, and Crystal Faith "Sissy" Nichols Harrison; grandchildren, Dylan Garrett Nichols (Koli), Jacob Allan Nichols (Madison), Landon Keith Nichols (Victoria), Payton Grace Harrison, and Bailey Jane Harrison; great-grandchildren, Janie Irene Nichols and Ellye August Nichols, and awaiting arrival of Lucas Allan Nichols.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 1-2 at Heiberger Methodist Church with funeral services starting at 2pm. Burial will follow at Paynes Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Allan Nichols, Marvis Ray Nichols, Donald Chris Harrison, Dylan Garrett Nichols, Jacob Allan Nichols, and Landon Keith Nichols.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy McCullough, Robert Terry, and Billy Joe Tucker.
