Peggy Ann Caldwell

Peggy Ann Caldwell passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 85. She was born on August 5, 1940. Peggy Ann Caldwell was a resident of West Blocton, Alabama and a faithful member of West Blocton Church of God.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William James Cook and Aler Cook; husband, Bobby Ray Caldwell; siblings, James Cook, Ollie George, Lottie Erwin, and Charles "Pete" Cook.

She is survived by her children, Wendy (Stonie) Poe, Tim Caldwell, Stacey Caldwell; siblings, Clyde (Hobo) Cook and Christine Webb; grandchildren, Brittany Fondren, Christina Caldwell, Nathan Caldwell, Ethan Caldwell, and Zeth Caldwell; great-grandson, Colton James Fondren.

Pallbearers are Steve Cook, Don Cook, Mark Erwin, Nathan Caldwell, Zeth Caldwell, and Ethan Caldwell.

Honorary pallbearers are Jeff George and Alan Horton.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her church family at West Blocton Church of God, Bibb Medical Center and Bibb Nursing Home.

A visitation will be held for Peggy on Wednesday January 7, 2026 from 10 am - 11 am at West Blocton Church of God. A funeral service will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in West Blocton, Alabama with Rev. Tim Caldwell and Rev. Pete Moran.
