Phillip Lloyd Gardner, age 68, of Brent, Alabama entered into rest on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. He was born on July 1, 1951 to R.E and Mildred Gardner in Jefferson Co. AL. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Gardner of Brent, AL; Mother, Mildred Burrleson of Mcalla, Al; Daughter, Amy Smith(Chris) of West Blocton, AL; Daughter, Amanda Stuckey(Brad) of Bessemer, AL; Daughter, Kanvas Gardner of West Blocton, AL; Sister, Gail Wear(Bobby) of Paris, TX; Sister, Carol Ward of Mcalla, AL; Sister, Melinda Matthews of Mcalla, AL; Grandchildren, C.J Smith, Chase Smith, Chelsea Smith, Chandler Stuckey, Cameron Stuckey and Colby Stuckey; Great Grandchildren; Kenzie, Railey, and Logan; A special friend, Gerald Allen of Talladega, AL. He is preceded in death by his father, R.E Gardner and brother, Rickey Gardner.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, Sept 8, 2019 at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Centreville, AL at 2 PM. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Shultz Creek Cemetery in West Blocton, AL with Rev. Bennie Corley officiating and Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville directing.

So sorry to hear about Phillips passing. I remember him from our teenage years, he only lived a couple of miles from me. Looking at all the photos posted he never changed that much. Sending my prayers and thoughts to the entire family.
