

Robert B. Crocker, age 83, of McCalla, passed away May 11, 2025, at Plantation Manor Retirement Home. Graveside services will be Wednesday May 14, 2025 at 10 am at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Lawley, Alabama.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Guy A. Crocker and Carlie Hambrick Crocker; brother, Arlee Crocker; and sisters, Margie Hendrix, Maureen Burnette, Nora Williams, Judy Elliot, and Pat Pate.
Survivors include his wife, Lynne (Blakenship) Crocker of Hoover; his son, Scott Crocker (Nicole) of Hoover; and his granddaughter, Mary Alice Crocker; sister, Elsie Green; brothers, Bill Crocker, Jim Crocker (Joan), and Joe Crocker (Margaret).
Bobby was born and raised in Alabama. He was married to Lynne for 58 years. He was honorably discharged after six years of service in the Alabama National Guard in 1969 as a Sergeant E5. As a career, Bobby worked in Corporate Real Estate with Alabama Power until his retirement in 1996. He and his fellow co-workers purchased all the land to complete the construction of R.L. Harris Reservoir and Lake Wedowee. Upon retirement at age 55, he worked as a Marshall at the Robert Trent Jones Oxmoor Valley Course in Birmingham, Al. Bobby was an 18 year survivor of Leukemia.
