I will never forget you Suellen. Your smile, your talents, your generosity, your love for others shined through your sweet smile. I still have the flowers you made for my son’s grave- and I can still picture Nathan when he brought them to me at school— I almost cried and I told him he had the BEST mother! His words were, “I know.”
You will be missed and I’m sure your family feels like their world is so empty without you. But I hope they can find comfort in knowing you are with Jesus and I’m sure Nathan and your parents were waiting with arms wide open when you entered heaven's gates.
I was blessed to know you.
Your sister in Christ- Jeri

Our SuSu,
You're the most amazing, strongest woman. You've taught me so much. You've given me the faith that I've been praying and searching for, for years. I will forever be so greatful. Thank you for being such a wonderful 'grandmother' to Lawson. You raised two of the most caring, loving, generous sons, along with grandson. We are very blessed to have you and your beautiful family in our lives. You will be dearly missed. We love you beyond words.

My first real friend. "Ex" was never placed before sister-n- law. You were always and still are my sister n law. You taught me so much about life, makeup, hot-rollers and yes, even boys. We spent countless hours listening to and "taping" the top 40 every Saturday then getting all dolled up to go to the skating rink. You gave me the courage to try out for Golden Girl and always helped polish my routines before tryouts. I'll never forget when you were pregnant with Blake and you'd always have me come over to help you clean and just be with you , because your "elephant feet" as you called them, barely let you get off the couch. Then came my time to go into labor, years later. You were right there when I had no clue what was happening. So many memories and so many laughs. I'm not sure if we know people who have gone before us, when we get to Heaven, or if we will be so amazed by the majesty of Jesus that we can focus on nothing else, but if you see my mom, please give her a hug from me and tell her I love her. She loved you so much. I love you and will miss you always. Rest in peace sweet Suellen.

This is an email I received from Suellen.

This is Blake's mom, Suellen. Jessica asked me to send you a couple of baby pics of Blake for his birthday at the office. I will have to send in 3 separate e-mails. I hope one of these will work for what you need.

Thank you for all you have done for him, especially giving him a chance. His dad and I have prayed for at least 3 years for his situation to change and for him to get something outside of the liquor store LOL. He doesn't know that and most likely would balk at the notion of it but his dad and I know Who is in charge :)

Thanks again!

She loved Blake so very much. It was my pleasure to get to know Suellen and to have Blake join our team. Russell and Suellen raised a fine young man.

You are one of my oldest and dearest friends. A relationship that was never affected by time or distance. I will miss you sweet friend and I am comforted in knowing you are home now. Until we see each other again and we can pick up right where we left off like always. I am forever thankful that God blessed me with you. I love you!

Suellen was an absolute joy to know. I was amazed at the wealth of knowledge she had regarding the Bible. In Sunday School Class, she always said things that made me think and want to dig more in the Word. She truly had a heart for others and I always saw Christ in her. She made me laugh and smile. Another angel gone home to rest in His arms. I have been blessed by knowing her. Until we meet again Sweet Friend...sending my love.
