She is preceded in death by her parents, Lois Kinard Ingram and James Franklin Kinard; brothers, Willie Franklin Kinard and John Fuller Ingram.
She is survived by her sister, Cheryl Ingram Averette (Bobby); cousin, Josephine Stevens Hill (William); nephews, Justin, Joseph, and Patrick; niece, Heather; 4 great nephews, 6 great nieces, her fur baby "Kitty", and many friends.
A visitation for Sylvia will be Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Mt. Ivah Bible Methodist Church from 10am - 11am. Funeral service will start at 11 am with burial to follow at Mt. Ivah Cemetery. Rev. Steve Vernon officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Averette, Justin Averette, Joseph Averette, Patrick Averette, Pete Royster, and Paul Oglesby.
