

Mr. William Byrd Faucette Jr., born March 8, 1934, was raised in Brent, Alabama, and was called home by his Lord Jesus on October 16, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of how to serve the Lord and love family and friends. Mr. Bill was a very compassionate and kind man; if you knew him, you loved him. He faithfully served his Lord as a Deacon for over 40 years at Wieuca Baptist Church in Atlanta, and Brent Baptist Church, and also served as a Gideon for over 22 years. He graduated from Bibb County High School in 1952 and married the love of his life, Norma Lou Price, on January 30, 1955. After high school, he attended the University of Alabama. In 1956, he joined the Army and served until 1958. He then completed his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at the University of Alabama in January 1960.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William B. and Lucille S. Faucette; his only son, Christopher P. Faucette Sr.; one brother, Floyd S. Faucette; and one sister, Lupee F. Desmond.
Mr. Bill is survived by his wife of 69 years, Norma P. Faucette; his daughter-in-law, Ammory R. Faucette, and his grandchildren: Christopher P. Faucette Jr. (Kaylyn), Abigayle S. Faucette (Fisher R. Buckalew), Blake F. Faucette (Larissa Bell), and Blake A. Burnett. He is also survived by great-grandchildren: Christopher P. Faucette III, Tucker N. Faucette, Charlie Gray, and Aubree L. Faucette, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Lee Desmond, Randy Faucette, Wade Desmond, Gerald McMillian, Mike West, and Fisher Buckalew.
