Alex Byron Charrier III passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the age of 66. He was the beloved father of Alexis Charrier Willis (Ronnie III). Loving son of Mattie Hess Charrier and the late Capt. Byron “Tiny” Charrier Jr. Brother of Brian Keith Charrier (Bonnie) and Vaughn Charrier. Devoted companion of Sandra Cressionne. He is survived and fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, great nephews, aunts, uncles and dear friends. Byron was a native of New Orleans and a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish where he enjoyed a long career as a commercial fisherman. He was well loved and affectionately known for his good nature, laughter and generous heart. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, December 12th from 11:00 AM – 1:00PM, followed by a celebration of Byron’s life beginning at 1:00PM. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
