Alton Paul Dupre

Alton Paul Dupre passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at the age of 65. He was the beloved husband of Darlene Lohfink Dupre for 45 years. Loving and devoted father of Alex Gerard Dupre. Father-in-law of Melissa Jackson Dupre. Proud grandfather of Kayla Marie Dupre and Hailey Rae Dupre. Son of the late Easton Joseph Dupre and Mary Pennino Dupre. Brother of Anthony Joseph Dupre (Jeanette). Brother-in-law of Bruce Lohfink Jr. (Dianne), Glenn Lohfink (Jodie), David Lohfink (Sandra), Janice Lohfink and the late Janet Schubert. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, especially Craig Schubert (Chasity) & Mark Schubert (Kelly), great nieces, great nephews, one aunt, cousins, other relatives and friends. The love of his life was spending time with his granddaughters and driving his 18 wheeler truck to Fouchon, LA talking with his friends along the route. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his brother of the highway and great buddy Gill Miller. Alton will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation to be held at OUR LADY OF PROMPT SUCCOR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2320 Paris Rd., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will begin at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will be private.
