Andre' was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on March 25, 1955 and enjoyed a long life filled with joy, laughter and a deep love for his family and friends. A proud alumnus of Brother Martin High School, he graduated in 1973 and carried that Crusader spirit with him throughout his life. He was a dedicated member of both the Knights of Columbus and the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Dad’s Club, where he gave generously of his time and energy. His love for sports was unmatched - especially when cheering on his New Orleans Saints and Chicago Cubs.
Never one to miss a celebration, Andre’ could often be found singing and dancing at local festivals, especially when bands like The Molly Ringwalds or Category Six were playing. Whether it was Mardi Gras, Halloween or any festive occasion, Andre’ embraced every moment with his signature head-to-toe costumes and warm enthusiasm.
His fondness of festivals and celebrations was surpassed only by his love for spending time with his children and grandchildren. His generous nature, warm heart and playful energy made him the life of every gathering. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
The Daussin family invites friends and loved ones to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 11th, from 11:00AM to 3:00PM at their residence. The family welcomes your condolences, stories and fun memories as we honor Andre’s life and colorful legacy.
