Angela Licciardi Zornes

Angela Licciardi Zornes passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the age of 91. She was the cherished wife of 66 years to the late Delbert “Bing” Leon Zornes Sr. Loving mother of Del Zornes Jr. (Dianne), Johnny Zornes, Louis Zornes (Tricia), Carl Zornes Sr. (Suzanne) and Michael Zornes (Kim). Daughter of the late Louis and Lena Najolia Licciardi. Sister of the late Frances Licciardi Klevron, Sal Licciardi and Anthony Licciardi. Proud grandmother of Kristy, Michelle, Heidi, Heather, Tammy, Jennifer, Steve, Zachary, Carl Jr., Christian, Nicole, Donovan, Brock, Leila and the late Louis Jr. Angela was born in New Orleans, LA and was a lifetime resident of St. Bernard Parish where she enjoyed a long career as a Librarian who drove the Book Mobile throughout the parish. Following this, she enjoyed many years as an Administrator for the Clerk of Court of St. Bernard Parish until she retired. She was well loved and will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend of many, who treasured her family. She is also survived and fondly remembered by her 15 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, October 28th from 12:00PM – 2:00PM, followed by a funeral service in her memory beginning at 2:00PM.
