Ann Cochran

Ann Schneider Cochran passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:20AM while surrounded by her family. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She was the cherished wife of the late William “Buck” T. Cochran Sr. She is survived by her 6 children; Sharon C. Devenport (Paul), Linda C. Melerine (Corky), William “Billy” Cochran Jr., Michael Cochran (Donna), Deborah C. Bordelon (Glenn) and John R. Cochran (Selena). Sister of Mary C. Kleyle and Frances B. Baker. Cousin of Hilda “Sissy” Obiol. She is also survived and fondly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched. Special thanks to the dedicated services of St. Bernard Hospital, Ferncrest Manor and Concern Care Hospice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at OUR LADY OR LOURDES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2621 Colonial Blvd, Violet, LA on Friday, March 20th from 10:00AM – 12:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 12:00PM. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans.
