It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Anthony "Paw" "Tony" Barcia, who departed this life peacefully at the age of 97. A devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather — and proud great-great-grandfather — he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. Born and raised a country boy at heart, Tony never lost his connection to the simple joys of life. Whether tending to his garden, enjoying a trip to the casino, or sitting around the table playing cards with family, he always found a way to make others smile. His presence was a comforting constant, and his stories — often told with a twinkle in his eye — will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of many years, Velma, who passed away in 2023. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and companionship. Together, they built a beautiful family, and a life filled with memories. Tony will be forever cherished by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carry a part of his gentle spirit. His warmth, wit, and unwavering love for family will never be forgotten. He lived a long and meaningful life, and now he rests in peace, reunited with his beloved.
