Anthony “AJ” Nuccio was born March 3, 1953 and died September 17, 2026. He was a resident of Chalmette, LA for most of his life. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Judy, for 45 years before she passed away in 2021. After five years apart, he is reunited with his loving wife, along with his parents, Joseph and Betsy Nuccio, and his sister, Cindy. During his 73 years on earth, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind one brother, Perry, three children: Mandie (Scott) Oalmann, Chad (Edie) Nuccio, and Brad (Vicki) Nuccio; nine grandchildren: Bennett, Scotty, Joey, Morgan, Brody, Bella, Brayden, Blakely, and Blair; and one great-granddaughter, Bowie. AJ served in the U.S. Marine Corps in his youth, and remained an avid bowler throughout his life. He competed in leagues for decades, and was known to bowl a perfect game on many occasions, even at the age of 71. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family and was so proud of his kids and grandkids.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel.
