Antoinette Franatovich Campo passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the age of 89. She was the cherished wife of 65 years to Ernest Joseph Campo. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some small way throughout her very memorable life. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Lillian Ludwig Franatovich. Sister of the late Freddie Franatovich and Ethel Clements. Although Antoinette had no children, she lovingly helped raise and was cared for by Marilyn Ruiz (Paul), Rusty Campo (Dawn), Angel Guerra (Anthony), Ernie Campo (Missy), Tara Mankin (Glenn), Austin Mankin, along with many other nieces and nephews. Antoinette was born in New Orleans and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish where she spent many wonderful years working with and supporting Ernest with his commercial fishing. She truly enjoyed life through her simple pleasures of spending time with her family and friends, along with her trips to the casino. Antoinette will always be remembered for her loyalty and dedication to her family, her loving spirit and her laughter. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by us all.
The family of Antoinette would like to extend special thanks and appreciation to the staff of Passages Hospice for their care and compassion.
