Barbara Hagadon Strange

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara "B" Strange, age 64, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this life on July 27, 2025. Barbara was a woman of deep compassion, warmth, and creativity. She found great joy in the simple things—filling her home with the aroma of her delicious cooking. An extraordinarily gifted artist, "B" saw beauty in the world around her and brought it to life through her art. Whether creating art or constructing cabinets, she poured her heart into every piece. She enjoyed spending time with friends, family and her pups, her presence will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Lacey Ard (Matthew), Casey Strange and Lester Bartholomew; her grandchildren, Abigail Ard, Sierra Ard, Benjamin Ard, Chad Strange Jr., and Ravin Burkhardt; her great-grandchild, Emberlee Grey Owen; her siblings, Lorraine Bordelon and Lee Hagadone and a host of friends who were blessed to know her. Barbara is preceded in death by her son, Chad Strange; her parents, Donald & Alice Hagadone. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that B’s spirit lives on in every meal shared, every canvas touched, and every family moment filled with laughter and love.

A celebration of life event will be held on August 16th at her home in Braithwaite. We invite those that knew and loved B to come and celebrate with us. Celebration will begin at 12:00.
