

Beatrice Deliberto Kessler passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the age of 100. Her final days were spent surrounded by and comforted by her family and close friends. She was the beloved wife of 50-plus years to the late Charles J. Kessler Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents Ciro and Claudia Deliberto; her brothers Vincent & Joseph Deliberto; and her sister Cecilia Giacone. Loving mother of Charles J. Kessler III (Kathy) and Patricia K. Bates (Cyrus). Proud grandmother of Stephen C. Kessler (Melissa), Jared Bates (Nettie) and Cyrus Bates III. (Samantha). Great grandmother of Lucy Kessler, Reagan Kessler, Sofia Bates, Elliana Bates and Mila Bates. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. The family would like to thank Ms. Blanche, and the nurses and staff of ACG Hospice for the magnificent care of our mother.
Beatrice was born in Hammond, LA on March 13, 1925, and was a longtime resident of New Orleans before settling in Slidell, LA. She truly enjoyed life through simple pleasures and cared deeply for others. She will always be remembered for her loyalty and dedication to her family, her caring and loving spirit, her laughter, and spoiling the grandchildren. She was a wonderful example of what it means to care for others and will be deeply missed by us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, November 10th from 10:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service in Beatrice’s memory beginning at 1:00PM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery No. 2 in New Orleans.
