Brenda Freeman Arnoult

Brenda Freeman Arnoult, beloved Mom, Granny, sister, aunt and friend, was called home on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife to the late Robert Arnoult Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Elaine Freeman, Pete Freeman Jr, Elden Brewer Arnoult Jr, and Kathleen Arnoult Cole.

She was the fiercely devoted mother of Robert “Bob” Arnoult Jr. and Alicia A. Campbell (Austin). Brenda’s pride and joy were her grandchildren: (Bobby, Alexa, Austin, Amelia, Madison and Andrew), who brought her endless laughter, purpose, and love. She is survived by her children, her beloved sister in law, Bonnie Porche, whom she referred to as a “sister”, her sister Gail Franchina (Vincent), her brother in law Ronnie Arnoult (Amy), her grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Born in New Orleans, LA on October 3, 1944, Brenda was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard parish. After retiring from ExxonMobil Refinery, she embraced retirement with joy—filling her days with the simple pleasures she cherished most. Brenda especially loved spending time with her family and her lunches and get-togethers with her dear friends which were moments filled with conversation, laughter, and stories shared.

Her devotion to her family will continue to guide those who loved her most.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation and mass to be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM, followed by a memorial service in Brenda’s memory beginning at 11:00AM.
