Carol A. Bonvillian

Carol Ann Bonvillian passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the age of 78 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 8, 1946, to Abel and Mildred Gautreaux. Cherished wife of the late Marcelle J. Bonvillian, Sr. for 33 years. Loving mother to Jolie Bonvillian and Marcelle J. Bonvillian Jr. (Dana). Grandmother to Stef'an Bonvillian and MacKenzie Bonvillian (Michaund). Great-Grandmother of Michaund S. Blaise, Jr., who lit up her world. Loving Sister-in-law to the late Roy and Marie Palmer. Aunt to Michelle Walsh (Darrel), Lisa Molero, Andrea Palmer (C.J.) and the late Roy Palmer, Jr. Great-Aunt to Darrel Walsh, Jr. (Lisa), Rachel Letort (Wayne), Alexis Molero (Savanna) and Chloe Molero. Great-Great Aunt "Cawrol" to Vincent and Nicolas Walsh and Harper and Hollyn Letort.

Carol was a resident of St. Bernard Parish and a Parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Violet where her faith was very close to her heart. She will be deeply missed by family and friends whom she loved spending time with and sending cards to for all occasions. A loving message was always included. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on through cherished memories and the love she leaves behind.

Special thanks to her caregivers, Raquel Cousins and Donna Ansardi who became family to her over the past few months. ln lieu of flowers, Masses at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church would be appreciated.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 10:00AM – 12:00PM at OUR LADY LOURDES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2621 Colonial Blvd., Violet, LA. A Funeral Mass to honor Carol will follow. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
