Carolyn Kettelberger LeBlanc

She was the loving wife of Jules LeBlanc, Jr. Devoted mother of Michele Migliore (Roy), and Michael LeBlanc. Grandmother of Roy, Jr., Charles and Sarah. She was also the sister of Cheryl Nastasi (Victor). She was the aunt of Jonathan (Lisa) and Jason (Andrea). She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Ibos Kettelberger and Charles Michael Kettelberger, Jr.

Carolyn was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. After graduating she worked at Tenneco Oil, Kansas Packing and eventually, Chalmette Refining. She was a parishioner of St. Mark Catholic Church, pre-Katrina, and a current parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, in Violet. She was a past member of the Stardusters and the Hinton Causey VFW 7194 Post, where she participated in the Ladies Auxiliary and the Junior Girls, and was a former member of the Krewe of Rhea. Carolyn was deeply loved by her family and friends, and will be missed by all who knew her.

An evening visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette from 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM. On Friday, August 24, 2018 a visitation will be held from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with a mass in her honor at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
