Charlene Alphonso Guerra

Charlene Alphonso Guerra passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 2, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was 67 years old. Born on December 2, 1957, in New Orleans, LA, Charlene grew up in Delacroix Island, LA, where she developed her lifelong love of the water.

Charlene later married the love of her life, Frank J. Guerra, whom she shared many wonderful years before his passing in 2020. They would have celebrated 47 years of marriage this year, and we find comfort in knowing they are now reunited in heaven.

Charlene had a generous heart and unwavering devotion to her family. Whether she was out on the water, painting, cooking, or with her dog, Cobie, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures.

Charlene is survived by her son, Frank Guerra (Brittany), her grandchildren Kacie Guerra, Collin Guerra, Aubrey Guerra, Finn Guerra, and her great-grandchild Carlton Pollard. She is also survived by her brother, Ernest Alphonso (Wendy) and a multitude of extended family and friends who loved her dearly. Charlene is preceded in death by her parents Robert “Bobby” and Joyce Alphonso and her loving husband, Frank J. Guerra.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 21st, 2025, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at The Tabernacle Church at 4302 E Judge Perez Dr, Meraux, LA 70075 with Pastor Chris Lodriguss officiating. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00pm. Family and friends are invited to join us in remembering and honoring Charlene and Frank’s beautiful lives.
