Clark Howard Horne

Clark Howard Horne, a proud Merchant Marine, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the age of 69. He was a loving husband of Doris Bertrand Horne. Devoted father of April and Michael. Proud grandfather of three grandchildren. He was a caring son of Maggie Elizabeth Bryan Horne and the late Prentice Horne. He was the brother of Kathy Horne Lavigne, Sandra Parnell, Hobert Horne and the late Harry Ross Horne, Patricia Dale Horne, Ethel Lee Horne Teagarden and Thelma Augusta Horne.

Clark was born on January 8, 1952 in Laurinburg, NC was a resident of Walker, LA. He later settled in Lacombe, LA where he enjoyed fishing and taking care of his family. His most cherished moments in life was spending time with his family and showing his grandchildren, nieces and nephews how to fish and enjoy the natures of the outdoors.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
