Da’Liyah Monaé Thomas was granted her angel wings, after only 29 days on Earth, on November 27, 2015 after a battle with Hirschsprung's disease. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Da’Liyah had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life. She was the cherished daughter of Donjai Thomas Sr. and Precious Toledano. Sister of Donjai Thomas Jr. Granddaughter of Darlene Toledano, Michael Caeser. Tapeka Thomas and Troy Delahoussaye. Niece of Karla Campbell, Mikell Mortorana, Joseph Mortorana, Jonathan Ceaser, Jessica Thomas and Arielle Thomas. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many dear cousins and relatives. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, December 5th from 11:00AM – 1:00PM. A funeral service in Da’Liyah’s memory will begin at 1:00PM. Burial will be private.
