Debbie Ann Hillebrandt

Debbie Ann Hillebrandt passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at the age of 62. She was the devoted and lifelong companion of Robert Haney. Beloved sister of Donna Pilet (Tony) and devoted aunt and Godmother of Tyler Pilet.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Marie Hillebrandt and her parents, Richard Charles Hillebrandt and Frances Mary Ciuffi Hillebrandt. She also leaves behind many friends, neighbors, and extended family members who will cherish her memory.

Debbie was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before settling in Metairie, LA. She was a dedicated employee of Whitney Bank for many years, where she was respected by her coworkers and appreciated for her dedication and friendship. Debbie found joy in life's simple pleasures - caring for her home, tending her beautiful flower garden, cherishing her doll collection and loving her cats. She had a special gift for finding beauty in everyday moments and showing kindness to those around her. Debbie will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family, her gentle and caring heart and the laughter she shared with us. She was a wonderful example of compassion and selflessness, and her love will remain with us always.

Rest in peace, our dear Debbie. Your kindness, quiet strength, and love for life’s simple pleasures will never be forgotten. You will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving you.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Thursday August 13th from 10:00AM - 11:00AM, followed by a Memorial Mass in Debbie's memory beginning at 11:00AM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
