Diane Theresa Alonzo

Mrs. Alonzo was the wife of the late Earl Joseph Alonzo, Jr.; daughter of the late Harold V. Turegano and Lillian Benedum; mother of Earl “Ricky” Alonzo III (Katherine), Catherine Alonzo Kreeger (Ted), Wayne A. Alonzo (Erica) and the late Regina Angela Alonzo; grandmother of Ricky Alonzo IV, Echo Alonzo, Jamie Alonzo, Kyndra Alonzo, John Lindblom, Kelly DosRamos, Kevin Alonzo, Taylor O’Malley, Ashtyn Alonzo, and Sarah Alonzo; great-grandmother of Alyssa, Jaden, Callie, Amanda, Emily, George, Drake, Andrew, and Garrett; great-great-grandmother of Edward “EJ”; sister of Francis Benedum and Sandra Benedum; special cousin and sister-of-the-heart Jennielee Corlis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am. A private interment will follow at a later date.
