Doris Bourquard Goodwin, age 82 years, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at her home in Baton Rouge, LA. Beloved wife of Gerald N. “Jerry” Goodwin for 58 years. Loving mother of Joseph Edward Goodwin and Julie Goodwin Nitsch. Grandmother of Corey Longo, Darla Nitsch, and Daniel Nitsch. Daughter of the late Edward and Antoinette Bourquard. Sister of Emelda Lodriguss, Myrtle Barras, and the late Marie Louise, Edward, Jr., Richard, Sr., Rene, Sr., and Albert Bourquard, Sr. Also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Goodwin was a longtime member of the Assembly of God Church and was also a longtime District Coordinator of the Missionettes Program. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 1:00 PM.
