Earl Sebastian Esteves Sr. passed away January 8, 2014 at the age of 93. Husband of the late Loyce Lewis Esteves, Father to Debra E. Guthans, Cheryl E. Romeo (Jack) and the late of Brenda Harms and Earl S. Esteves II. Brother to the late Clara Cappe, Evelyn Thiel, Waldo, Benjamin and Milton Esteves. Grandfather to David and Michael Harms, Douglas, Lauren and Nicholas Guthans, Meridith Mangiaracina and Earl Esteves III. Trevor and Cara Romeo. 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A US Army Veteran of WWII, Earl was the former president of U.A.W. Local 1190 for 25 years and U.A.W. Retires Club. Former Commander of VFW Post 3706 and member of Daylight Masonic Lodge/Andrew Jackson Lodge.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
