Earl Raymond Gonzales Sr. passed away November 1, 2014 at Slidell Memorial Hospital. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Ethel Evans Gonzales. Son of the late Albert Gonzales and Ernestine Ricourad Gonzales. He is survived by his children Earl R. Gonzales Jr. (Peggy), Karen Daroca (David), Angela Campo (Donald), Gary Gonzales, Bradley Gonzales, and Timothy Gonzales. His legacy will live on in 16 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A native of Delacroix Island and member of the Los Isleńos heritage, Earl graduated from Momus High School class of 1945 and served his country in the United States Navy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and Friday 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
